It has been professionally painted, waxed and distressed in the shabby chic style (the paint colour is 'Ivory'). Please note that one of the central struts has been reinforced (this does not affect the structure or stability of the bed in any way).The pictures show the actual bed. The approximate external dimensions of the frame (at it's widest points) are as follows: 197cm (width), 228cm (length), 97cm (headboard height), 80cm (footboard height), 16cm (space underneath the bed).This bed fits a standard UK superking size mattress (180cm x 200cm), with a few cm's around the mattress for dressing the bed.
